Kimpton Hotels runs several upscale, pet friendly hotels around the US as well as some in Western Canada. They often are theme hotels (one in Seattle focuses on wines) and have a spa and many other luxuries that you can't often find with the pet-friendly set. These hotels are beautiful! At least one of the Seattle ones does a fund-raising event for local shelters once a year, and I would hope that the others do too! Check them out next time you are traveling with your pet:
